Okay on a serious note Batman actually does understand this. He didn’t understand the dynamic of Flash’s relationship with James. You see Wally VISITS James in the hospital, and he becomes the Trickster when he goes off his meds. Seriously he’s mentally ill and the Flash treats him like a human.

Now this next part is about Batman but let me clarify The Flash is one of the best characters on  a human level.

Batman has done this too. It’s just a majority of his villain’s aren’t interested in coming back. He once talked a little girl out of destroying Gotham by just being kind and patient. She was dying, sure, but she had the power to destroy Gotham. He didn’t use aggression, he wasn’t violent, he sat on a swing set and talked with her, even going so far as holding her hand.

My problem with modern interpretations with Batman is he’s become TOO gritty. I want a batman movie about a Batman who is cool, collected, and focused. A Batman who’s drive to complete the task no matter the cost, doesn’t interfere with his humanity.

There’s a great scene in young justice with Grayson saying that he couldn’t be like Bruce. The thing I don’t think Dick ever realized, is that Bruce didn’t want him to be like him.

Long story short: Wally is the fucking best, Batman’s humanity is often overlooked.
